Hello and Welcome to the Pepperpot Pottery!
Let me introduce myself, my name is Rebecca Scrivins and this is my partner Will. But you can call me Bex, everyone does! I graduated from the University for the Creative Arts back in the summer of 2022. With a degree in ceramics specialising in hand building but for the last year and more I have been working at the Star Pottery in Lewes, expanding my skill set to improve on the throwing technique I intitially learned during uni. Thrilled by the advancement I've made, continually defying the boundaries I set myself. All the while never forgetting the captivation I had and still do to this day for rigorous glaze testing, which you will see as time progresses!
Now in recent months as my line of work has expanded, I felt it time to found my own studio space, dubbing it fondly as - The Pepperpot Pottery. Due to its ties to home and family never forgetting the routes I came from and the importance it has to my partner Will as well.
